Almost 2000 years ago one could never have imagined that the vibrations of underground trains would shake the foundation of the Coliseum and cause it to crumble. When I look at the structures we've built since I wonder if they'll also become ruins to be discovered and preserved.
As far as I'm concerned, the world already ended once. We dug up evidence of towering creatures to prove it. Maybe a future civilization will excavate fossils of airplanes and oil rigs, the strange dinosaurs of our time.
